I am THE biggest Tribe fan.  In my mind, hip-hop doesn’t get any better than Tip & Phife taking turns on the mic with Ali on the turntable.  March 1, the Harlem Stage is hosting a roundtable with hip-hop icons and journalists.  It’s free to RSVP.

Until May 6, there’s an exhibit at the International Center of Photography titled “The Loving Story” after the HBO documentary of the same name.  It’s a collection of photographs on criminally charged inter-racial Virginia couple in the 60s.

The Studio Museum in Harlem is hosting The Bearden Project through March 11.  I will send out an email letting everyone know when I plan on going (most likely next Saturday) - more field trips!  It’s my duty to support a fellow high yellow brother.

The Met is exhibiting historical baseball cards of the most historical players that went from the Negro leagues to the Majors.  While not a baseball fan, art institutions are historically racist, and I love attending things just to further justify my beliefs.  I’m interested to see why they just selected players who were integrated into “mainstream” leagues.
